Ghost in the Shell X Graniph Fashion Collection

The original manga Ghost in the Shell was written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow in 1989. Since then, it has captivated countless fans through various adaptations. Now, Graniph is launching a collaboration with the TV anime Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. In addition to popular characters such as Motoko Kusanagi, the members of Public Security Section 9, Tachikoma, and the Laughing Man, the lineup also includes special designs featuring Graniph’s original characters. We invite you to enjoy these items that capture the essence of the series’ world.

Design
This design is inspired by the memorable scene in which Tachikoma fights to save Batou when he is cornered and in the final moment of its last attack spots him. The front features embroidered depictions of Tachikoma and natural oil while the back expresses the natural oil flowing like tears using gel print. The sleeve is accented with a woven label featuring the line Goodbye Mr. Batou.
